Ms Julie Moss

A member of the LH Martin Institite's Advisory Board, representing the Australian Council for Private Education and Training (ACPET).

Julie has over twenty-five years' experience in the vocational education and training sector in Australia, including management experience in community education and employment programs. Julie has been involved with the Australian Council for Private Education and Training (ACPET) since its inception in 1991. ACPET is the national industry association for more than 1000 private institutions delivering higher education, vocational education and training, English language and school courses and is the leading advocate for the private post-compulsory education and training sector in Australia. She joined the ACPET Board in 1998 and was Deputy Chair from 2000-2004 and National Chair from 2004-2008.

She has a wealth of experience representing the interests of private education and training providers at the state, national and international levels in a range of capacities, including her participation over a number of years, in the judging of the Australian and Victorian Training Awards. Julie was an inaugural Board member of both the Victorian Qualifications Authority and its successor the Victorian Registration and Qualifications Authority. She also served for a number of years on Victoria’s Higher Education Advisory Committee. Julie has participated in several Australian Government delegations promoting VET overseas. She is a Bachelor of Arts graduate from Deakin University and also holds a Graduate Diploma (Arts) and an Associate Diploma in Community Development. Julie is also the Managing Director of the Photography Studies College in Melbourne.
