Mr Rod Camm

Rod Camm took the position of the Chief Executive Officer of the Australian Council for Private Education and Training in October 2014.

Prior to this Rod was the Managing Director of the National Centre for Vocational Education Research.

Rod has also held senior appointments in Skills Queensland driving the reform of skills and workforce development investment and policy; and in the Department of Education and Training where he was Associate Director-General for Tertiary and Non-State Education with responsibility for international education and training, higher education and the regulation and funding of non-state schooling; and Chief Executive Officer at Construction Skills Queensland with responsibility for establishing the centre, ensuring Construction Skills Queensland played a critical role in influencing public and industry policy, and in helping industry develop and implement workforce development strategies to meet its future skills needs.  Rod has also held a range of other executive roles in Government.

Rod has performed the role of director on a range of boards and is a fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

He has a Bachelor of Business (Human Resource Management) and an Executive Masters of Public Administration.
