Prof Gerald Burke

Honorary Professorial Fellow

Professor Gerald Burke undertakes research on employment and on financing, participation and quality in education and training.  He was Executive Director of the Monash University-ACER Centre for the Economics of Education and Training (CEET) until 2008 and now has an adjunct appointment at Monash as a professor in Educaiton.

His appointments include chair of the Victorian Qualifications Authority and member of the Victorian Registration and Qualifications Authority.  In 2011 he was on a panel that undertook public consultations on the Victorian review of fees and funding in vocational education and training.

From 2008 to 2013 he was a member of the boards of Skills Australia and the Australian Workforce and Productivity Agency. He is a member of the editorial board of the National Centre for Vocational Education Research.
