Timo Aarrevaara
Timo Aarrevaara holds a post as Research Director at the University of Helsinki, Faculty of Social Sciences, which he received in 1998, majoring in administrative science. Since 2000 he has held a docent’s position at the Department of Management Studies at the University of Tampere, and he has acted as the head of the Masters Program in Higher Education and Management. Aarrevaara has professional experience in public administration as well as research and teaching. He is a member of board of the Finnish Graduate School in Higher Education Administration, Management and Economics, a member of the board of the Consortium of Higher Education Researchers in Finland, a member of board in the Tampere University Press, and the Editor of the Higher Education and Management Series. He has participated in several significant evaluations and audits, including the leadership of the evaluation group on Virtual Universities in Finland. Dr. Aarrevaara has acted as the research director of a number of projects, including the Changing Academic Profession survey in Finland. |
