Dr Stephen Weller
Stephen Weller is the Pro Vice-Chancellor Students and Technology at Victoria University and commenced this role in July 2006. Stephen has stewardship for the student experience across the entire student journey and works to lead key initiatives in relation to the learning, living and support aspects of students within Victoria University. Stephen also has stewardship for the University's information and communication technology strategy and provides strategic direction for the University’s ICT capital works. Stephen has twenty years experience in the tertiary education sector including extensive leadership and management of student, faculty and campus operations at four different universities. Stephen has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Sydney, a Master of Commerce from the University of Western Sydney, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Technology, Sydney. Stephen has also completed a Doctor of Philosophy with Victoria University in the area of organisational justice and participative workplace change in Australian higher education. Stephen is the President of the Association of Tertiary Education Management (ATEM) having previously served as Vice-President and is an Associate Fellow with the Australian Institute of Management (AIM). Stephen is also a member of the LH Martin Institute Advisory Board. |
