The LH Martin Institute welcomes Ms To Ngan Ha
The LH Martin Institute is pleased to welcome Ms To Ngan Ha as the next Intern under the AusAid Leadership Development Program – Leadership Practice. Ha is studying in Australia with the support of an Australian Government Australian Leadership Award Scholarship. ALA Scholarships are academically elite awards offered to high achievers from the Asia-Pacific region each year to undertake postgraduate study and a Leadership Development Program in Australia. As part of the ALA scholarship program, ALA scholars are given the opportunity to participate in the Leadership Practice module. The Leadership Practice module provides a minimum 5-day learning experience with a leading Australian organisation.
Ha has taught English as a Foreign Language at the Vietnam National University, where she is also the course convenor of the "Learner Training" program. She is responsbile for designing the syllabus, compiling textbooks, contructing tests, designing the evaluation system, and managing teaching groups. Her first university-level research was related to teaching students to learn independently in the university context. Currently, Ha is studying the Master in Educational Leadership and Management at La Trobe University.
Ha comments that “I have had a great opportunity to do my internship at LH Martin Institute because I can work with experts in the field of leadership in higher education with a number of tailor-made courses for leaders around Australia and New Zealand. It will definitely support the course on leadership that I am doing”.
